Welcome to Las Abuelas! We opened our trailer in S. Austin in October, 2018.
Our Abuelas are the driving force behind the concept. The Chef/Owner was raised in a family of amazing cooks. Two of these cooks were the grandmothers--Rita, known for her fried chicken, and Maria, known for her dishes pulling from S. Texas and Mexican cuisines. We've taken these two influences and put them in sandwich form, creating the best fried chicken sandwiches in Austin.
